Founded in 2004, Krista Artista Gallery is located in Anoka, Minnesota--a historic Mississippi River town just north of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Owner Krista Rothmaler is a self-professed "art junkie." When she began to talk about opening a gallery, husband John Warnke came up with "Krista Artista." Though it began as a joke (that somehow stuck), the name conveys a warm, welcoming shop that nevertheless showcases some of the best talent in Minnesota.
