Felting Series with Nora Shilts
Part 1: Needle Felting
Learn how to needle felt using wool roving. Needle felting can be used to create 2-D art and small scuptural figures and is great for embellishing sweaters and scarves. Cost: $35 (includes all supplies you need to get started!)
Saturday, 2/4, 9:00-10:30. FULL
Part 2: Wet Felting
Learn this simple technique to create a one-of-a-kind scarf.
Cost: $70 (includes all materials and supplies to get you going on your own felting adventures)
Saturday 2/11, 9:00-10:30.
Part 3: Nuno Felting
Nuno felting is an exceptionally beautiful type of wet felting where fibers are fused to a silk base. Cost: $70 for students who took Part 2 class or $115 for those who did not and need supplies utilized in Part 2. You will also need to bring an old silk scarf (lightweight but must be silk) and 2 old towels.
Saturday 2/18, 9:00-1:00.
Price for all 3 classes:
$175.
Each class is limited to 6 participants with a minimum of 4.
